Aston Martin has revealed its 2015 New York Auto Show lineup.
The British automaker will present the Aston Martin Vulcan, the track-only supercar that made its debut earlier this month at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It will mark the Vulcan’s first appearance in North America, joining six other vehicles that include the new Vanquish Carbon, Rapide S, DB9, V12 Vantage S and the V8 Vantage GT Roadster.
The Vulcan was styled entirely in-house by the Aston Martin design team, led by Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman and previews the future design language for the brand. The track-only car is powered by a 7.0-liter V12 engine with over 800 hp.
The British automaker was recently caught on camera by AutoGuide.com‘sspy photographers testing a mule for the next-generation DB9. It appears that the test car is a powertrain mule so there isn’t much to see in terms of new design, although it does look slightly wider in the front.
The DB9 successor is expected to make its debut next year, so expect to see full body prototypes that are a bit more exciting later on this year. As we reported earlier, Aston Martin will be sticking to V12 engines for the time being, even once it begins receiving Mercedes-AMG engines in the future.
The Short List is back and it’s more luxurious, exclusive and exotic than ever.
It’s also more absurd.
That’s because this installment of our new video list feature is all about the Top 10 Most Expensive Cars in the World. From Bugattis to Ferraris to cars you’ve never even heard of, Craig Cole and his cousin/alter ego Fitzgerald run down the list of cars so pricey you’ll likely never even see on in person. Ever!
