Default Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Problem

Greetings All from Australia (BTW, keen to hear from any other AM owners in Brisbane - please PM me).

I have a 2007 Vantage Roadster and the TPMS is telling me that two tyres are low, when they definately are not, and the yellow warning light is staying. I have adjusted the tyre pressures to both above and at the recommended pressures, but to no avail.

It looks to me like an aftermarket unit that AM used - Smartire made by Bendix.

I read somewhere that the batteries run flat in the tyre senders and they are not serviceable? Can we go direct to a distributor? Smartire won't deal with the public.

Any advice appreciated.
